Fire protection sensor

High-performance photoelectric sensors with approval from VdS are required for a safe detection of people and objects for locking systems on fire doors, also when smoke develops. The suitability must be verified in a FSA test report.

Pepperl+Fuchs photoelectric sensors have proved this. In case of fire the smoke will be ignored but people or objects in the smoke will be safely detected. That makes sure the fire door will safely close only when there are no more obstacles in the closing area.
