TrafficonLine is a 12-beam infrared light beam scanner. The beams form a line-shaped detection field. It is for the detection of moving people and monitoring door areas in busses and railwayst. This version is certified to railway and automotive standards.
Every time after the door has opened the reflection value of the detection area is stored as a reference value. This enables the sensor not only to eliminate errors caused by changing environmental conditions like rain, snow or pollution, by it makes also possible the monitoring of handles and other boarding aids, which are positioned in the detection area.
