The RL80 was specifically developed for the detection of people, objects, and vehicles at gates. This includes gates in indoor and outdoor areas, as well as barrier systems.

The key feature of the light barrier is its exceptional detection reliability in close range, even with reflective surfaces. Reliable suppression of vehicles or people passing the sensor in close proximity is thus ensured. This principle prevents false triggering and unintended gate or barrier openings.

With energy-independent distance detection, reliable suppression is possible even with highly reflective surfaces or reflective films on work clothing.

The flexible sensor design of the reflective light barrier allows for both side and front mounting on metal or concrete posts, ensuring highly flexible adjustability with a mechanical rotation adjustment. The housing allows for a 360° horizontal and ±2° vertical adjustment range.

The scope of delivery includes the screw accessories: 2 x DIN 7985 M4 x 35 and 2 x DIN 7981 3.9 x 35

Function of the test input:

For testing, the transmitter is switched off at 0 V or with an open test input. For operation, the supply voltage must therefore be applied to the test input (white)!
