The RL80 was specifically developed for the detection of people, objects, and vehicles at gates. Gates in indoor areas, gates in outdoor areas, and barrier systems are included.

The extreme detection reliability at short range, even on reflective surfaces, is a key feature of the light barrier. Reliable suppression of vehicles or people passing the sensor at close range is guaranteed. This principle prevents false triggers and unwanted gate or barrier openings.

With the energy-independent distance measurement, reliable suppression can also be achieved even with highly reflective surfaces or reflective materials on workwear.

The flexible sensor design of the reflection light barrier for both lateral and front mounting on metal or concrete posts ensures high flexibility in adjustment functionality with mechanical rotary adjustment. The adjustment range of 360° horizontally and ± 2° vertically is achievable with this housing.

The delivery includes the mounting accessories: 2 x DIN 7985 M4 x 35 and 2 x DIN 7981 3,9 x 35

Function of the test input:

For the test, the transmitter is switched off at 0 V or an open test input. For operation, the supply voltage must be applied to the test input (white)!
